Mountain Hash

Location: 18 miles up Dead Indian Road from Highway 66. Go up Dead Indian Road from Highway 66. At the summit (Buck Prairie Road) start your odometer and go about 5.2 miles (past Howard Prairie Lake turnoff) and turn right onto Keno Access Road. Go 0.6 miles on Keno Access Road, then turn left into the large parking lot - this is the start.
Bring a flashlight.
Hares off at 6:30pm. Carpool from Ashland BiMart by 6:00pm.

Start together and stay together - stop and wait to make sure that you see the next hound behind you - this means everyone. Otherwise you will get lost and need to bring stuff to spend the night out.

NO POISON OAK! Very minimal pavement.
Good trail, beer, food, swimming.
Dogs OK. Strollers if you and the kid are tough.
You can probably crash the night at the On In site. Not an official campground.
